Today Beadsaholic brings the news of Ohm Beads On The Bayou Event!
Join me along with the Ohm Beads Team in New Orleans, Louisiana August 31st through September 3rd, 2018 for Ohm Beads 10th Anniversary celebration!
Tickets are $555 and if you registered by March 1st you will receive a personalized special Limited-Edition Early Bird bead. Registration starts today and there are only 100 spots available.
OHMies are encouraged to arrive on Friday the 31st of August, Ohm Beads Events are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday and departure is on Monday September 3rd.
The ticket price of $555 per attendee will cover the following.
- Swag Bag
- Meals
- Drinks
- Outing Events
You can also bring family or friends. If they are non-bead-loving and would NOT like a swag bag, you may register them for $222, which includes meals and outing/events. Children under the age of 16 are only $111 each and includes meals and outing/events. Please note that anyone wanting a swag bag will need to register as an “Attendees”.
Ohm Beads is working on getting a group block rate at a Hotel near the French Quarter and Central Business District Area. This will be updated once the Hotel has been confirmed. You are not required to stay at the same Hotel.

I can’t wait to finally meet you in person, Paula! I’m suuuuuuuuuuper excited for this event! This year is NOLA’s Tricentennial so it’s an extra special time to visit the city.

I’m waiting on more details-
1) name of the hotel
2 ) who is proving the meals and where ? Is it a hotel buffet? Is it just breakfast and lunch ? Is it 3 meals a day ?
3) just the most rudimentary of schedule times or event list ? I used to live in NOLA and would like to schedule time with old friends.
4) will their be bead buying opportunities, or bead making ?
5) is this more like a private party for people who work at Ohm, and yes
Ohm’s biggest fans are invited, but we have to pay to meet the cool kids and basically pay for their $55,500 shindig rental spot during Southern Decadance ?
6) are you sure this is kid a friendly event ? The French Quarter during a Pride Event ? Trust me I am not a prude. I lived there. Maybe some one should rethink the kid thing…..
