Today Beadsaholic brings the latest news of Ohm Beads on the Bayou!

Ohm Beads on the Bayou is the celebration of Ohm Beads 10th anniversary and this celebration will take place in the heart of New Orleans aka NOLA. Everyone will arrive by 6 pm on August 31st, 2018 at the New Orleans Marriott for a meet and greet, then Saturday September 1st will be a fun filled day where we can all get to know each other, fun giveaways, workshops and meet some of the great artist at Ohm Beads, True Beadz, ACA Kreations, Maya Uh, Shanna Marie with YFLF and Gus Fink just to name a few. There will be lots of fun things to do, you can learn to take fantastic photos with Martha from Marthnickbeads and come play with me, for an hour of bracelet playing where we will be making wrap bracelets, plus there is so much more planned! Sunday September 2nd will be a day out touring and from what I hear there are great things planned for Sunday’s event. Monday September 3rd we will have our last breakfast together and some will depart to head home while others will stay and enjoy the city a little longer.

The tickets are $555 with swag bag and there is a reduced ticket if you are bringing someone who doesn’t want swag. However, registration ends Monday night at Midnight.

So far the swag that will be given at the event are two glass beads Mardi Gras Mask Glass (see below), Limited-edition Fleur de Lis Glass, Limited-Edition NOLA Silver (see below), Bead Mail Silver, Love Grows silver, a pre-released bracelet, purple Ohm T-shirt and more to come!

The ticket price not only includes this very generous swag bag, it also covers meals, drinks and outings for the weekend. This event is unlike any other bead event as it’s an event to not only get together with people you have so much in common with, it’s a celebration! It’s not so much a sell event but I hear there may be a few beads available.

Event will take place at the Marriott of New Orleans at 555 Canal Street, which located on the edge of the French Quarters. Lots of things to do in your free time within walking distance. A block of rooms has been reserved for Ohmies for $139 per night.

Over all, I am super excited to meet many bead friends and I hope many more will decide to come! We will certainly have a blast. I look forward to meeting you all there!

Don’t forget to bring a purple outfit for Saturday (if you want), sunglasses, sun screen and some cool clothes as it’s hot in the south!
