Today Beadsaholic brings a review of a few beads from the Summer on the Beach collection from Aurora!

As most of you know I’m such a beach bum at heart and if it were possible I’d wake every morning to the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the beach, this would truly be a dream come true. Growing up the beach was both mine and my Mother’s favorite place to be, as it brought us both peace, calmness and just relaxes all the worries of the world away. Growing up I spent much of my time visiting Myrtle Beach, lived on Edisto beach in South Carolina and spent my teen years growing up in Florida where my twin brother and sister were born. I have sand and salt water in my veins! So, when I received these beads from the Aurora Summer on the Beach collection, I was giddy, beyond excited as I can never have too many beach-themed beads! With Aurora they bring a new fresh beach luau feeling to the theme with their tropical colored Frangipani, Tiki Mask and Beach Sign.

Aurora Beach Sign is too cute and reminds me of the old broken wooden signs or broken surf boards pointing in different directions. As you turn the bead each board looks to be attached, with each board having a different word or saying as followed Aurora, Tiki Bar, Island Girl, The Big Kahuna, Gone Surfing, Relax, Aloha, No Shoes, No Shirt, No problem. This is a must have for any beach lover. Beach Sign measures approximately 12 mm high x 12.50 mm wide and retails for €39.95, price includes vat.

Aurora Frangipani Red & Yellow Charm is stunning and comes in four different colors. I truly wish I had each of the colors to create an amazing tropical bracelet! There are three flowers on this bead with yellow and red enamel and this bead measures approximately 12.50 mm high x 10.79 mm wide. Frangipani Red & Yellow retails for €34.95, price includes vat.

Aurora Tiki Mask is a beautifully detailed dangle. I love that the bail is very much apart of the design with a hibiscus flower, leaves and what looks to be a rope design on bamboo, then hangs the fantastically detailed mask with a beautiful blue stone. From the top of the bail to the bottom of the mask this bead measures approximately 27.67 mm x 7.42 mm wide and retails for €39.95, price includes vat.
