Ohm Beads Astronargh Review

Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Ohm Beads Astronargh!

Ohm Beads Astronargh is the 40th bead of the month for September 2018. This bead is a co-op design by Ohm Beads and a very sweet Ohmily artist Maya Uh. I missed out on Ohm Beads Argh released in 2015 and we knew that this blind distribution was going to be a similar design with a space twist. As soon as I saw the unveiling at Ohm10 I knew I had to have this bead! Astronargh is a blind distribution and we now know that there are five different designs each with a slightly different pose, different spots for the laser gun and one with two guns. I personally love the version I received.

I wore it like this most of my stay in New Orleans, La. after receiving my Dirty Big Luna. I love how it stands out and looks as though it’s circling the moon.

“You’re so down to earth, and I’m up in the stars. So, show me the sea and I’ll take you to Mars.”

I was wearing this composition during my lunch date with my husband and I received this fortune in my fortune cookie. I have organized my life around this blog, I truly love sharing with you all, working with each company and shops I represent here on the blog. I hope in time this blog grows as it would be a dream come true for me.

Astronargh is perfect both in a space and a sea theme. I have had a lot of fun creating space themes around Astronargh and love the stack in the below photo.

This was today’s stack with a Mctrish twist.

Ohm Beads Astronargh is a stunning large bead that has three holes and can be worn on a bracelet, bangle or Ball Necklace. I have taken photos to show you this bead at every angle. This bead is limited to nine-hundred and ninety- nine (999) beads and measures approximately 24.30 mm high x 14.42 mm wide with a weight of ten grams. Astronargh retails for $180 / €164 / AU$260, Euro price includes vat.

If look close in the next three photos you will see that this Astronargh the tentacle wraps around the laser gun in the front with the gun slightly angled. Out of the five designs this is my favorite as I feel you can see the laser gun rather well.

Since you can’t see all the detailing in photos I’m including a video as well.

Below you will find photos of all five designs courtesy of Ohm Beads.

Mine is the first design in this collage, as you can see the laser gun is slightly angled which allows you to see the side of the gun from the front view of the bead instead of just the barrel. Also, if you take a close look you will also notice that the tentacles on each is slightly different.

Each Astronargh comes in a yummy smelling bath bomb in different colors and fragrances.

Over all, I’m so glad I bought the Ohm Beads Astronargh and knew I had to have him while I could buy him at retail. If you are on the fence about this bead, all I can say is go for it! The original Argh after market prices are through the roof, so if you want it get it now. It is such a fun bead and has already sold out at a complete of the shops featured on Beadsaholic.

If you would like to shop for this bead you will find them available at the featured shop links below as well as Ohm Beads USA, Europe and Australia at the banner link below. All European stores offer vat free shopping for those outside of Europe.

XO,

Paula

  1. I love your bracelet with the Luna and UFO. I have it with Baby Argh and 2 Suckers. Ho hum. I really don’t understand why an octopus would be an astronaut. Incredibly original, though, and in a weird way I like it. The packaging was fun.

I don’t have an Argh. I was watching for it on eBay for many months and not a single one was listed. Would have cost a fortune. I am satisfied with Astronargh and have abandoned the search.
