  8. It’s funny what immediately came to mind… When I was a teenager my grandma gave me a couple plastic shark toys… the kind a smaller child might play with in the bathtub…. It was like she forgot how old I was…. I thought it was silly at the time, But to this day, I still remember those sharks ❤

  10. A cameflouge knitted scarf from a student was the most unusual. I thought you’d love it because you like war. I am a 7th grade history teacher. It was cute. 🙂

  15. My most unusual gift was a packet of pampers pull up nappies, with a sign stuck on them saying big girl pants. It was a strap line for the pampers advert in the ‘90’s and me and my then boyfriend found it hilarious – so he bought me my own! Very bizarre and I ended giving them to a colleague who had a little girl!

  18. I don’t celebrate Christmas but I was given a Combined torch and toolbox by my brother in law which I thought was a bit weird at first but has turned out to be one of the most useful presents ever.

  29. The most unusual but much appreciated gift I received was a basket full of Belgian chocolate. It was so good that I finished up in a couple of days.

  36. A huge wooden cat that you put in your windowsill as decoration…….
    Which was on the wishlist of my neighbor, but hubby missed that part of the conversation and thought I wanted it……..
    I gave it to her a day later and she was really happy with it! I made my hubby buy me some Pandora instead 😂

  38. Hmmm, what really stands out are the pillows printed with photos of my cats! Yeah, I’m having a hard time thinking of anything weirder than that, lol.

  41. I received a huge round box, which they told me to open straight away, and inside there was a kitten, alive, kicking and hungry! I was really happy 😊

  45. Four years ago On a Christmas Eve, I stayed overnight with my daughter who had given birth on the 22nd. Her husband had to be home that night with their other two. My present was being with them on Christmas and having that little angel smile at me.
