Aurora Lucky The Pig Review

Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Aurora Lucky the Pig!

Aurora Lucky the Pig released in December 2018 and with perfect timing for the Chinese year of the pig. Being born in the year of the pig I was rather excited when I saw this cute little guy. If you are familiar with Aurora Charm, then you have most likely browsed their Cute & Cuddly line and know how cute their animals’ designs are. They didn’t hold back on cuteness with this guy, that’s for sure.

In this first composition I wanted to go with a bit of an Asian feel for the year of the pig, I have included Aurora Lucky the Pig, Aurora Frangipani Red & Yellow Flower and three red glass from Celtic Creations.

Aurora Lucky the Pig is such an adorable bead with the sweetest expression. Lucky the Pig measures approximately 14 mm high x 11.75 mm wide and retails for 39.95, price includes vat.

Of course, one of my favorite ways to wear Aurora Lucky the Pig is with an assortment of Aurora Charms, especially their glass and silver line. Below you will see Aurora Celtic Mystic Knot, Kitty, Irish Celtic Eternity, Lucky the Pig, Irish Celtic Shamrock, Teddy, and Irish Celtic Tree of Life.

I have also mixed Aurora Lucky the Pig with two beads from Aqua Handmade and Gifts. With the pink dried flowers and gold flakes inside the resin I think it makes a perfect composition for the coming Chinese new year, as well.

For a simple look it’s perfect on the Celtic Bangle with the Frangipani Red & Yellow Flower.

Or even a spring look with these fantastic Sea Glass beads from Aurora.

Pigs symbolize luck, good fortune, wealth, honesty and prosperity. Those born in the year of the pig are thought to be hard working, peace- loving, truthful, generous, reliable and a trusting person.

Wrist Shots!

Over all, if you like pigs, then this is the perfect charm for you, as you won’t find a pig cuter than this guy. I personally love this bead and will be wearing it throughout the year.

    • Yes! A lamb would be adorable. There is a baby unicorn and baby dragon hugging that just came out for Valentine’s Day in this line that is just too adorable. I’ll have a review with better photos up soon. There is also a new artfully done Fairy of unicorns that features a beautiful adult unicorn. I love unicorns and wouldn’t mind a bracelet full lol
