Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Trollbeads 2019 Father’s Day Bead, Superhero!

Though Father’s day here in the USA and many other parts of the world isn’t celebrated until June, many celebrate Father’s day starting in March. In celebration of Father’s Day Trollbeads introduced this year’s Father’s Day bead, Superhero in honor of all the superheroes in our lives. This bead will be available in store and online on February 22, 2019.

Trollbeads Superhero is a small textured bead with a lightning bolt on the front. The base measures approximately 8.30 mm high x 5.33 mm wide and the lightning bolt measures approximately 8.54 mm high x 7.20 mm wide and retails for $45 / €45, price in euros include vat.

When creating combinations with the Superhero bead, I couldn’t think of any beads better than stones.

In this first composition I went with Onyx, Superhero, String Spacers and Trunk of Treasures Spacer on a Trollbeads Bangle.

Here I went with the same two spacers String Spacer and Trunk of Treasures but have replaced the onyx with Lapis Lazuli and Starry Night.

Not only will Trollbeads Superhero fit on Trollbeads bracelets, bangles and leather but it fits nicely on both Pandora Essence and Pandora leather bracelets. Here I have it on the Essence Open Bangle.

I really like the look on a braided Pandora leather.

Works well on the Trollbeads Leather seen here with Savoy Knot, Steel Hematite, Friendship Knot, Onyx, Endless Impact, Starry Night, Onyx, Superhero, Pyrite, and Positive Change.

Over all, I think this would be great for a son or father. My nine-year-old is quite fond of the bead as it reminds him of Flash, he is huge into superhero shows that we watch together. For me I will wear this bead to remind me of him and I’m sure he will want to borrow it from time to time to wear on his leather necklace.
