A Magical Witchy Inspiration featuring Argo Studios

Today Beadsaholic brings some witchy inspiration featuring Argo Studios!

Today I’m inspired by all that is magical and what is more magical than Witches? There are many types of witches and most of us think of witches seen in movies as powerful and spell-bounding. But what about the Green Witch those that use herbs and gifts from the earth to heal? For me I think this is the type of witch the Cooking Witch is, one that uses Mother Earth’s blessing to heal and bring forth goodness for her family and friends.

Argo Studios Cooking Witch is a beautiful hand-sculpted Kitchen Witch ready to infuse magical blessings in everything she cooks. She is seen here sitting with her cauldron, a wooden spoon, a spell or cooking book and of course wearing her witch hat. This bead measures approximately 15.60 mm high x 10.76 mm wide and weighs 6.4 grams. Cooking Witch retails for $109 / €95.

All Argo beads are made by the hands of Margo with Argo Studios and are truly works of art. Here are a few more photos at different angles.

Quotes: from The Apprentice Witch’s Spell Book

Argo Studios Sun and Moon is artistically fabulous! On one side you will find a man’s face in a crescent moon with a strong pointy nose and a curling mustache and on the other side a round sun Face. There is no greater magical energy than that of the Sun and Moon. This bead measures approximately 15.40 mm high x 14.32 mm wide and weighs 7.3 grams. Sun and Moon retails for $109 / €95.

Here you can see the Sun and Moon bead at different angles.

When I think of magical colors my mind always goes to purple, I can’t think of a more magical color. So of course I went with some beautiful purple beads from Ogerbeads and Henhousebeads. Below is a list of silver beads used in this composition.

  • Trollbeads Witch Shoes
  • Redbalifrog Book of Spells
  • Trollbeads Paradox
  • Ohm Beads Dirty Magic
  • Argo Studios Cooking Witch
  • Argo Studios Sun and Moon
  • Ohm Beads Magic Frog
  • Redbalifrog Gypsy Crystal Ball
  • Trollbeads Playing Cards
  • Redbalifrog Bubble Stopper
  • Ohm Beads Shroom
  • Ohm Beads Sweep
  • Trollbeads Best of Both Lock

I wanted to include close-ups of this bracelet so that you can see how truly magical these beads are!

Of course, I wanted to mention a few more beads that are a must have for a magical bracelet. Seen here is Redbalifrog Book of Spells, this bead is one of my favorite beads from Redbalifrog.

Also, love the Gypsy Crystal Ball from Redbalifrog.

And a magical bracelet wouldn’t be complete without Ohm Beads Magic Frog!

Or Ohm Beads Dirty Magic, seen here with the Shroom and Hock dangles.

You can’t have a witch’n time without some Trollbeads Witch Shoes to wear.

This plaque sits on my desk. As you can see I’m a witch at heart. Being a redhead it’s a good thing I wasn’t born back during the medieval times or I would have been thought to be a witch because of my hair and most likely burned at the stake. I guess that is where all the ginger saying stem from.

I’d really love some herb beads to go along in this theme with the Ogerbeads glass, Argo Studios Cooking Witch and Ohm Beads Dirty Magic.

I am totally in love with this bangle composition with Ogerbeads glass, Henhousebeads glass, Ohm Beads Shroom, Redbalifrog Book of Spells, Argo Studios Cooking Witch, Ohm Beads Magic Frog, Redbalifrog Bubble Stoppers on a Trollbeads Bangle.

What Moon would not be complete without some howling? Seen here are Ogerbeads Glass, Argo Studios Sun and Moon, Mama Beads She Wolf and Redbalifrog Star Stoppers on a Trollbeads Twisted Bangle.

Wrist Shot!

Over all, I’m having such a witchy good time with these beads! Both beads are perfect, and I am so excited to have them as part of my collection. I could see the Sun and Moon being used in so many different compositions and the Cooking Witch would look fantastic in a green organic setting, too. Perfect for year-round or during the witching months!
