Today Beadsaholic brings a review and live images of the latest collection from Trollbeads, “Go Round”!

When I think of Summer my mind always drifts towards the ocean and with this latest collection from Trollbeads it’s the perfect reminder of summers favorite moments. I personally love these smaller stones as I prefer to wear lighter smaller compositions during the summer as I live in the south-eastern part of the USA, which has rather hot and humid summers. So, I think these new designs will be perfect for this time of the year and for those who collect brands like Essence, Elfpetite and Karma, I think you will find the size of the new summer collection mix well with these popular brands as well.

“Find your treasures.. Oranges, bubbles, beach balls. From the smallest grit to the big moon. The shape of round is seen everywhere. A geometric form and yet so full of symbolism. These round gemstones designed by Lise Aagaard represent completeness, unity, equality and acceptance.”

Trollbeads Round Labradorite is a beautiful grey stone with a bluish-green flash, though color can vary with each stone. Round Labradorite measures approximately 9.96 mm high x 8.39 mm wide and retails for $50 / €50.

“Labradorite is also known as the transformation gemstone, or star gemstone. It is said to be formed from stardust, imbued with its characteristic, blue-green iridescence by alien lifeforms on strange, distant plants. It bestows strength and constitution upon its wearer.”

Trollbeads Round White Moonstone is a beautiful white stone with a white flash. White Moonstone measures approximately 10.29 mm high x 8.52 mm wide and retails for $50 / €50.

Trollbeads Round Aventurine varies in shades of green. Round Aventurine measures approximately 10.49 mm high x 8.61 mm wide and retails for $50 / €50.

Trollbeads Round Lapis Lazuli Is beautiful with different shades of blue with flecks of golden pyrite. Round Lapis Lazuli measures approximately 10.18 mm high x 8.61 mm wide and retails $50 / €50.

Trollbeads Round Malachite is a beautiful stone with different green strips. The bead I received has a bit of a matte finish; however, I’m not sure if all the Malachite stones will be this way. Round Malachite measures approximately 10.50 mm high x 8.49 mm wide and retails for $50 / €50.

Trollbeads Framed by Sea is a unique design of seaweed that wraps around the small round stones, pearls or small silvers. Framed by Sea measures approximately 11.71 mm high x 17.75 mm wide and retails for $50 / €50.

Trollbeads Conch Pendant is a beautiful pendant with two conchs wrapped in seaweed. Conch Pendant measures approximately 23.44 mm high x 12.03 wide and retails for $61 / €61.

I have loads of inspiration photos and I think you will see how much fun I had playing with these beads. For myself I think I will get a second set of stones, so that I can have pairs. You will notice that the new stones are about the same size as most Trollbeads Pearls and how well they go with Trollbeads Sea themed beads.

I really love the new pendant on the Trollbeads Leather Necklace. Here I used the Framed by Sea to frame the Conch Pendant.

The new beads really work well on a bangle with some of the previously released sea beads.

Isn’t this necklace to die for? I love how well these beads look together on the leather.

The perfect summer bracelet!

I was going for a pond or lake theme here.

I really love the Trollbeads Flying Fish with these new beads, it really stands out.

Of course, you don’t have to do a sea theme, here I have used the new stones in a floral composition.

I adore the Framed by Sea with the Labradorite.

The Conch Pendant can be worn on a necklace or on a bracelet.

Overall, I think this is a rather refreshing release. I wasn’t sure about the price point with these beads; however, after thinking about it I find that it is close to the price range of the Trollbeads Pearls. I hope to see more stones released in this size and shape in the future.
