Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Dream Glass Art July Release!

Recently I introduced Dream Glass Art with their June release here on Beadsaholic and today we are taking a look at the July release which consist of five beads and a pendant, two of the beads are limited -edition.

Dream Glass Art Clover Bear – Girl is such a cute bear made of sterling silver with a devilish mischievous look upon her face, she is wearing a dress and is carrying a 9k rose gold clover. This bead measures approximately 16.16 mm high x 10.51 mm wide and weighs 4.7 grams. Dream Glass Art Clover Bear – Boy is adorable with his mischievous smile, wearing his little tie, he is made of sterling silver and is holding a 9k yellow gold clover. This bead measures approximately 16.18 mm high x 10.23 mm wide and weighs 4.6 grams. Clover Bear – Boy is limited to one-hundred pieces (100) and retails for NT$3550 (Current conversion rate on their website is $113.75 / €101.33, please check Dream Glass Art Website for your currency).

Dream Glass Art Rose Love is a stunning stopper with three roses, leaves and a round dichroic glass. This stopper fits the Dream Glass Art bangle tightly and fits Trollbeads bangles not as tight, but similar to Trollbeads stoppers. My bead is matte with some oxidation, the bead you will receive will be polished like in the photos on the website, other than that the bead will be the same. This bead measures approximately 15.62 mm high x 11.80 mm wide and weighs 4.7 grams. Rose Love retails for NT$2580 (Current conversion rate on their website is $82.67 / €73.64, please check Dream Glass Art Website for your currency).

The Art Rose works well as a stopper or as a bead, seen here with Dream Glass Art Endless and Christmas Party on the Plaid Bracelet.

Dream Glass Art Rose Pendant is a beautiful two rose, one bud with leaves sterling silver bail and a dangling red matte finished glass drop. Again, the silver is matte with oxidation and yours will be polished as seen in the photos on Dream Glass Art website. This bead measures approximately 31.10 mm high x 9.19 mm wide and retails for NT$2580 (Current conversion rate on their website is $82.67 / €73.64, please check Dream Glass Art Website for your currency).

Dream Glass Art Rose is a beautiful shade of matte red glass that has a soft velvety touch. This bead measures approximately 15.85 mm high x 11.08 mm wide and will work perfectly with standard size beads from other brands like Trollbeads, True Beadz and Ohm. Rose retails for NT$1450 (Current conversion rate on their website is $46.46 / €41.39, please check Dream Glass Art Website for your currency).

Dream Glass Art Rose Velvet is a matte velvety red glass with gold foil accents around the bead. This bead measures approximately 15.86 mm high x 11.22 mm wide and retails for NT$1700 (Current conversion rate on their website is $54.47 / €48.52, please check Dream Glass Art Website for your currency).

Here you can see this collection live outdoors. Please note that velvet matte beads do attract some lint from time to time and I seem to have it from the flowers on my hands and beads, this is not a defect.

Full release works well together.

In this review I thought I’d mix brands to show how well these beads go together and am including a few up-close photos of the release on this bracelet.

In this composition I went with Trollbeads Red Bubbles, four off brand 9k gold beads, Ogerbeads Carmine Glass Stone, Red Moonlight, Dream Glass Art Red Fireworks, Dotted Flame as well as the July collection on a Trollbeads Foxtail bracelet with a Redbalifrog Rose Brass Lock.

Wrist Shot!

Overall, I find the red glass will be useful in adding texture to a bracelet and will fit in nicely with my red glass collection. The dangle is nice, and I think I’ll order a velvet cord to wear it on as a necklace, as well. The highlights of this release for me are the Rose Art and Clover Bears. The clover bears are just so much fun and previously released Clover Bears are what grabbed my attention originally, that and their beautiful glass.

If you would like to order the July collection or browse Dream Glass Art you may do so on their website <Click here>.

As always, I love hearing from you all and would love to know your thoughts on this release? What do you think of Dream Glass Art? Do you have any of their beads? A favorite? Wish list? Leave me a comment below ❤

XO,

Paula

    • I get your granny’s vase was beautiful! I love the matte and would love more colors, too. The red will be perfect for the winter months with the velvety look.
