Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Ohm Beads 2019 July Collection.

For July Ohm Beads introduced a few new fun glass beads with a picnic in the park theme. Imagine a day with blue skies, beautiful sun shining (See Forever), green grass and trees (Lazy Lawn and Park View) and a picnic with Watermelon, Cheesy Cheeseburgers and a yummy Frappe! Sounds like a fantastic day, right?

Ohm Beads has always thought outside the box and they continue to with each new release and I always enjoy seeing what they will come up with next and what inspiration it will give me and others.

Ohm Beads Frappe is the 50th bead of the month and has kept the July theme over the past few years, so if you have picked up the previous July beads of the month then you will definitely want Frappe to match your other beads. This bead has a creamy base with caramel stripes all the way around. This bead measures approximately 15.79 mm high x 9.31 mm wide. There are only five hundred and fifty-five (555) Frappe and retails for $50 / €52.

Ohm Beads Watermelon is a rather cool and fun watermelon bead with a green rind, red melon and black for seeds. This bead measures approximately 15.25 mm high x 9.14 mm wide. Watermelon is part of the regular collection and retails for $50 / €52.

Ohm Beads Cheeseburger is such a fun bead! When I first saw it my first thoughts were Jimmy Buffett’s song Cheeseburger in Paradise, so I knew I had to have it. As you can see this bead has an amber-brown bun with green, red and yellow for lettuce, mustard and ketchup. This bead measures approximately 16.30 mm high x 9.25 mm wide. Cheeseburger is part of the regular collection and retails for $50 / €52.

Ohm Beads Cheesy is a nice cheddar cheese color and works well with the cheeseburger bead or with some of the previously released orange glass. This bead measures approximately 15.62 mm high x 9.25 mm wide. Cheesy is part of the regular collection and retails for $40 / €41.

Ohm Beads See Forever is a nice sky blue with one yellow sun. At first I thought I’d love if this bead had suns all the way around, but how accurate would that be, as we see forever across the sky and there is only one sun to brighten our days. This bead measures approximately 14.91 mm high x 9.34 mm wide. See Forever is part of the regular collection and retails for $45 / €47.

Ohm Beads Lazy Lawn is a nice shade of green with a rigid ridge edge on one side. This bead measures approximately 15.10 mm high x 9.39 mm wide. Lazy Lawn is part of regular collection and retails for $50 / €52.

Ohm Beads Park View is the perfect match of green for the Lazy Lawn, this one is a green base with clear glass and scatter green spots. This bead measures approximately 15 mm high x 9.35 mm wide. Park View is part of the regular collection and retails for $45 / €47.

Here I embraced the picnic idea from Ohm Beads and went with food beads like Assaulted Pretzel, Dangling Wieners, Feast, Black Bird Pie, Ohm Jar and Silver Spoon on a Trollbeads bracelet with Trollbeads lock.

This was the first composition I wanted to create with some of the new beads and realized I really need to order a few others to go with the theme. A tribute to Jimmy Buffett Cheeseburger in Paradise with the new glass from Ohm beads, Woodstock, Hawaiian Ukulele Girl with Aurora Frangipani Red & Yellow Flower, Tiki Mask, Beach Signs and Trollbeads Macaw unique on a Trollbeads bangle.

Overall, this is a fun and unique release that is perfect for summer. The greens will also work nicely come Christmas time. With imagination these beads can work in so many different compositions! How would you use them?
