The winner of the Trollbeads People’s Bead is Giada Manfredi with her Turtle Flower submission!
“Giada Manfredi comes from Italy and since she was very young, her big passion has been drawing.”
“The inspiration behind the design of the winning bead came naturally: “I have always loved turtles. Every time I go to a new city or on holiday, I search for something like a pendant or a little figure that shows a turtle. Well … my house is full of turtles!”
“I found the inspiration from a holiday, where I was on a boat trip. Just there I saw an amazing sea turtle that was swimming next to me! It looked like the turtle was dancing, as a flower cradled by the wind.”
Trollbeads Turtle Flower will retail for $72 / €65 and releases on August 23, 2019.

This is a disappointment to me. It’s lovely, yes, but I have no interest in wearing a turtle. I don’t understand the broad appeal. Sigh.

Maybe it’s just me being picky but not impressed, I like pretty beads this IMO is not pretty. Looks more like a poor turtle with a malformed or seriously damaged shell. Maybe it looks better and different in real life but the promo shots not so pretty.
Though have to say the Turtle itself the face ,legs etc. are well executed. Maybe if the Rose was placed in front and the bracelet chain went between them but just seems off.

It actually looks better from the top, which is what you see while wearing the bead. Maybe you will like it once you see the live images.
