Beadsaholic brings a review of Redbalifrog’s latest collection Spread Your Wings!
Today is the release of Redbalifrog Spread Your Wings, a collection that is inspired by flight. This collection consists of five new beautiful pieces Lady Mothra, Love Birds, Mandarin Duck, Flying Fish and Sunflower and Bee Lock. I must say this is the best release from Redbalifrog this year! There is just so much to love here.
Redbalifrog Lady Mothra is stunning and my absolute favorite. I was so excited to see a moth as part of this release as they are the butterflies of night. Lady Mothra is a moth with a beautiful Art Nouveau face. This bead measures approximately 18.69 mm high x 24.77 mm wide and weighs 2.9 grams. Lady Mothra retails for $36 / €37.

Redbalifrog Love Birds is two adorable birds nestled together with beautiful ruffled feathered detailing and two intertwined hearts. This beautiful bead measures approximately 12.97 mm high x 15.12 mm deep x 15.91 mm wide and weighs 8.4 grams. Love Birds retail for $36 / €37.

Redbalifrog Mandarin Duck is a cute duck ready to swim on your bracelet. The detailing is fabulous and includes feet on the bottom of the bead. This bead measures approximately 12 mm high x 17.13 mm wide and weighs 5.4 grams. Mandarin Duck retails for $31 / €31.50.

Redbalifrog Flying Fish is a beautifully detailed fish in flight as if flying out of water. This pendant can be worn as a dangle on a bracelet or on a necklace. This bead measures approximately 25.82 mm high x 18.88 mm wide and weighs 5.7 grams. Flying Fish retails for $31 / €31.50.

Redbalifrog Sunflower and Bee Lock is a fabulous lock with a flying bee landing on a large sunflower. This lock fits Redbalifrog, Trollbeads and similar bracelet carriers. Sunflower and Bee Lock measures approximately 13.99 mm high x 27.36 mm long and weighs 7.5 grams. This lock retails for $51 / €54.

In this first composition I was inspired by the moth and Art Nouveau, so I went with Chronicles inner-carved Rose, Full Bloom, Koi Fish, Kokeshi Sakura and White Crane, Redbalifrog Lady Mothra, Love Birds, Flying Fish, Pinecone, and Mandarin Duck on a Redbalifrog bracelet with the Sunflower and Bee Lock.
I am including several photos of this bracelet to show the beads used.
In this composition I was inspired by tranquility and went with glass beads from Elfbeads, Ogerbeads, Dream Glass Art, TPOA Tropical Ocean, Redbalifrog Bonsai Tree, Lotus Flower, Australian Gum Leaves, Flying Fish, Mandarin Duck on a Redbalifrog Bracelet with the Frog Lock.

In this composition I used some of the beautiful bee themed beads from Redbalifrog and I think they look amazing with this new lock. I used Ogerbeads Glass beads, Redbalifrog Bee Goddess, Queen Bee, Mandarin Duck, Flying Fish and Surya Sun on a Redbalifrog bracelet with the Sunflower and Bee lock.
Now for some bangle compositions. In this composition I went with Redbalifrog Lady Mothra, Pearls and Frangipani Forever.
The Lovebirds are fabulous so, I used it as the focal and framed it with Ogerbeads Glass, and Redbalifrog Australian Gum Leaves on a Trollbeads Twisted Bangle with TPOA Swiss Stoppers. On the Trollbeads Ball Necklace is the Flying Fish.
Here I used the Redbalifrog Love Birds as the focal again with Chronicles Ambers, Argo Studios Snowdrops, TPOA Amber Rose Dangle, TPOA Swiss Stoppers on a Trollbeads Twisted bangle.
How perfect does the new Redbalifrog Love Birds look with the Redbalifrog Tree House and Spirit Fox alongside Ogerbeads Glass, on a Trollbeads Twisted Bangle with TPOA Swiss Stoppers.
This is my current favorite way to wear the Lady Mothra, I think it looks fabulous on a leather bracelet.
