Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Lundd Denmark Venus.
Today Lundd Denmark releases “Venus” the latest addition to their Art Line Collection. I have had great interest in this line from the start with Scream, Mona Lisa and now Venus as I love everything to do with art and have been so excited for each new piece.
Lundd has created Venus in likeness of The Birth of Venus, a painting from the great Sandro Botticelli around 1485-86 during the renaissance period. Today the beautiful painting hangs in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. In the painting the Goddess born from the sea rides on a giant scallop shell that is blown to land by Zephyr and possibly Aura, seen on the left side of the painting.
Lundd Denmark Venus is a beautiful rendition of The Birth of Venus, her head slightly tilted to the left, hair blowing in the wind as she covers her naked body with her hair and arms while standing on a huge scallop shell. This bead is set in sterling silver, measures approximately 18.37 mm high x 13.68 mm wide and weighs 2.9 grams. Venus retails for 310,00 DKK / $51.75 / €42, prices include vat.
Here I’ve composed Lundd Venus with Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone, Pearls and Pandora Shells on the Pandora open bangle.
With this composition I went with the Trollbeads Feldspar Moonstone, Dream Glass Art glass beads, Lundd Mona Lisa, Venus and Scream.
Lundd Venus is the perfect addition to my Art themed bracelet. Today I went with colors of the sea and a little sunlight shining through with Elfbeads Glass, Trollbeads Pearls, Van Gogh Sunflowers, Kiss (Klimt), Frames, Ohm Beads Italian Artist, Lundd Mona Lisa, Scream, Venus, on the Trollbeads Art To Go bracelet set.
Overall, Lundd Denmark Venus is the perfect addition to my art bracelet, and I cannot wait to see what Lundd will create next. Venus would also work really well in a sea theme.

Wow! That is a gorgeous charm. It is beautifully done and I really like how you’ve styled it, especially on the Art to Go bracelet.

I would say that this pretty Venus has her head slightly turned to the right, not the left. Nice bracelet compositions

Hi Angela, the lock is easy to work. I have autoimmune issues that cause swelling and problems with my hands, too and don’t have any issues using this lock. If you are on social media send me a message and I’ll do a quick video of the lock for you. Yes! That’s the Ohm Beads Italian Artist. I do have the whole set and there is a review here on the blog. I had a lot of fun creating with those and love wearing them. Now if I could just wear them in Italy, that would be a dream come true.

Thanks so much for the offer but no social media for me. Thought it was from the Ohm collections beautiful set, though retired they are still on my wish list.
A trip to Italy would be so fab. Here’s hoping we win the lottery 🤗 then we can have our hearts desire.
