Argo Studios Tree of Life Review

Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Argo Studios Tree of Life.

The Tree of Life is called Crann Bethadh by the ancient Celts who considered the Tree of Life to have magical powers. It is thought that the Tree guarded the land where which it stood and were doorways to the spirit world as the Tree of Life connects two worlds by its roots reaching and growing deep within the earth. The Celtic Tree of Life knots symbolizes the branches and roots entwined together with no end to show the continuous cycle of life. Argo Studios has captured the magic beautifully in their rendition of this ancient design.

The Celtic Tree of Life symbolizes harmony, balance, strength, long life, rebirth and wisdom.

Argo Studios Tree of Life is a Celtic design of the Tree of Life and is beautifully executed. This bead can be worn several different ways and will even work as a splitter on a Fantasy Necklace. It’s a rather diverse bead and fun to play with. This bead measures approximately 16.55 mm high top to bottom of the tree x 16.25 mm wide and weighs 5.4 grams. Tree of Life retails for €110 / $125.

Close up video review of Argo Studios Tree of Life.

So, since the Celtic Tree of life is thought to be magical I felt that a magical theme was in order. All Glass are Dream Glass Art <click here>, silvers starting at the top is Redbalifrog Gypsy Crystal Ball, Ohm Beads Magic Frog, Redbalifrog Book of Spells, Ohm Beads Shroom, Ohm Beads Dirty Magic, Argo Studios Tree of Life, Ohm Beads Mandrake, Argo Studios Cooking Witch, Ohm Beads Quill, Ohm Beads Luna, Ohm Beads Sweep, Trollbeads Witch Shoes,  Trollbeads Lightning Bud Spacer on a Trollbeads bracelet with the Trollbeads Best of Both Lock.

I am including several photos of this bracelet to show all the beads close up, you can also see them all in the video above.

Here I went with a bit of a forest theme with the Tree of Life, two green glittering glass beads by Dream Glass Art, Trollbeads Lightning Bud Spacer and Fox Spacer.

And for another magical theme I went with Argo Studios Cooking Witch, Tree of Life, Ohm Beads Dirty Magic and Dream Glass Art Glass beads. I really love this composition!

During the old days it was thought that a tree died every winter and was reborn every spring and this is why the Tree of Life symbolizes “rebirth”.

Here I have the Tree of Life on a Trollbeads Fantasy Necklace with Trollbeads Round Amethyst, Round Garnet, Round Onyx, Flower Wreath and Spring Leaves.

Wrist Shots!

Overall, this is a fabulous bead and perfect in any composition or worn alone. I really love the Celtic design and I wear it a lot on the Fantasy Necklace.

  1. Hi Paula,
On your wrist shot what is the other bracelet with the smaller Spherical beads and Zirconia clasp?
Like that you have used several of those OHM mini dangles, very cute . Nice to see they do not have to live on my Halloween Bracelet.
