Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Ohm Beads latest release.

Today is Preview Day for Ohm Beads and I’m doing something a little bit different as I’m giving you guys a full review with photos I’ve taken and am including a link to my YouTube Channel, so that you can see these beads up close in all their glory! In this article we will take a look at the bead of the month, five new glass beads, one European exclusive and two new store exclusives. I will also be reviewing soon two more beads releasing in October, so stay tuned for those.

For October Ohm is not holding back, I totally love this release and I think everyone will find a bead they like this month.

Ohm Beads Who Dead is a fabulous Owl with a sugar skull motif set in sterling silver (You can see this guy up close all the way around on my YouTube Channel). This bead is so detailed with his feathers, skull on his chest and his little talons.  This bead measures approximately 15.23 mm high x 12.32 mm wide and weighs 4.6 grams. Who Dead is the October bead of the month and is limited to five hundred and fifty-five (555) pieces, comes in special packaging seen below and retails for €78, price include vat.

Ohm Beads Blackberry has a black core encased in clear with a dimpling texture. This is a great addition to the previously released fruit designs like Strawberry, Orange and Lemon. This bead is a standard size 15 mm high x 8 mm wide barrel shape glass bead. Blackberry retails for €41, price include vat.

Ohm Beads Cascades of Color 2.0 Collection consist of four beads The Next Blooms, Across The Koi, Fall In The Lake and Pits & Pith. Each bead is beautifully done with vibrant colors. I love this collection and am so happy to see these in this release. Each bead is a standard size of 15 mm high x 8 mm wide and retail for €47, price include vat.

Ohm Beads Bad Girl is such an adorable detailed bead with her bad girl attitude and has an ax to grind, literally in swing mode! It is such a great bead for Halloween. This bead measures approximately 13.92 mm high x 6.33 mm wide x 13.88 mm deep and weighs 2.6 grams. Bad Girl is a European exclusive, limited to three hundred and thirty-three (333) beads and retails for €47, price include vat.

Ohm Beads Marmalade is a pretty orange base bead with specks of black throughout encased in clear glass. It is a standard size barrel bead that averages around 15 mm high x 8 mm wide. Marmalade is an at Exclusive only available at Perlen, only one hundred and eleven (111) beads and retails for €48.20, price include vat.

Please note, that this bead runs a tad larger than standard glass and is the same size as other glass beads in the RAWR collection which is about 16 mm high x 8 mm wide. Meteorite is an exclusive at Perlen, only three hundred and thirty-three (333) beads and retails for €48.20, price include vat.

I don’t have the original RAWR glass release but do have the second release and as you can see the Meteorite is a nice addition to the collection.

Pits & Pith goes nicely with the Paper Lanterns and Strawberry glass beads on the Navy Whip bracelet.

I had to create a sea theme as the purple in The Next Blooms matches the Slim Plant, and Mauve Stinger and the Fall in the Lake matches the Rise perfectly.

Now for a Halloween theme! How fun are these beads together?

This ended up being my first composition to wear. I love all the Cascade of Color together along with Who Dead.

Overall, This is a fantastic release! I’m sure Who Dead will be a must have for all our Owl Collectors and is such a fun bead to add to a Halloween theme. All beads are fabulous, and I think many of you will like this release.
