Today Beadsaholic brings a preview of Aurora The World of The Little Prince.

Aurora has confirmed that they will indeed be releasing a licensed Little Prince charm, “The world of The Little Prince”! Being that it is a licensed product it will not be included in any present or future promotions. The World of the Little Prince will retail for €69.95, price includes vat.

Now for some details from Aurora:

“We are delighted to confirm that in cooperation with successors of French author Antoine De Saint – Exupery, based on The Little Prince book – we will release the new licenced charm, in the late October!

“Born” in 1943 in New York, The Little Prince is a worldwide Publishing Phenomenon. With over 200 million books sold worldwide, translated into 300 languages, The Little Prince is one of the best-selling and most translated books ever published.

It is the story of a grown-up meeting his inner child, embodied by a Little Prince. Traveling from an asteroid, he left his rose there to discover the world. Before landing on Earth he visited many planets and their inhabitants where all grown-ups incarnates humankind’s most common vice. When a fox teaches him that the eyes are blind and we can only see rightly with our heart, and that we are responsible forever for what we tame, The Little Prince goes back home to meet again with his Rose.

The charm will be called The World of The Little Prince. It was created based on creative idea of talented Czech designer: Markéta Moravcová Raušová. The Bead features the planet, where The Little Prince comes from, called Asteroid B-612 with his Rose and a volcano. The Little Prince figure is laying on the planet, dreaming about his Fox, which is portrayed as resting in front of him. You can also see the stars, as a “reflection” of the stars in the universe around them. This bead is a little bit bigger than our glass beads, it is around 12.5 mm in diameter, with widest part end to end of 15.4mm (incl. little prince figure). Each bead will come in custom themed box automatically.  

The Little Prince is philosophical tale, with humanist values, shared from one generation to another for more than 75 years. Creating bonds between generations, men and continents, The Little Prince is a sustainable development icon, a World Peace actor, and a childhood Rights ambassador.
