Today Beadsaholic brings the news of the latest release from Spiritbeads.

Today sees the debut of Spiritbeads Matryoshka, a beautiful Russian Nested Doll. This bead is limited-edition and only one hundred and fifty (150) beads have been made. You also have the choice of buying this bead alone or with a special True Beadz glass bead.

Matryoshka Dolls are world renown and I even had a set as a child. Most are made of wood, are hand-painted and they open to find more dolls inside decreasing in size until you find a cute small doll. I truly wish I still had mine, but this bead will remind me of my cute Russian doll.

Spiritbeads Matryoshka is a sterling silver Russian Doll. You fill find floral detailing on the front and back. This bead measures approximately 14.24 mm high x 9.49 mm wide and weighs 5.2 grams.

I’ve created a composition in red and golden glass from Trollbeads and select silvers from OHM, Aurora, Redbalifrog and TPOA to create a Russian inspired bracelet.

I’ve added some close-up views from different angles of this bracelet.

I’ve also created a Trollbeads Bangle composition with Trollbeads Glass, Aurora Glass & Silver with Redbalifrog Stoppers.

Overall, this is a cute and traditional Russian Doll design and will work in any composition.
