Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Niwabeads Night Shift.

Recently Niwabeads introduced their latest exclusive for Beads Fanatic, Night Shift and I believe I actually squealed! I love Niwabeads and I love bats. I’m always watching Flying Fox and all sorts of other bat videos and I think that they are so cute. My oldest son when he was younger loved to lay on top of the car under the streetlight and watch the small bats fly and munch on flying bugs that were attracted to the light, he was as fascinated by them as I am. I haven’t seen any in a few years and miss seeing them by the streetlight at night.

Please note, that this is a Niwabeads Project with Beads Fanatic. Beads Fanatic is the designer from start to finish and has created this bead in honor of their home city Valencia, Spain. Bats are a heraldic symbol that is part of their culture and is on many of the structures and carries strong symbolism.

Since this bead was released for Halloween, I’m embracing the theme here today on Beadsaholic.

Niwabeads Night Shift is a beautifully detailed bat with a ready to bite facial expression. Perfect for a Halloween Fright Night theme! This bead is limited to only one hundred and twenty (120) pieces and is an exclusive at Beads Fanatic. On their site it lists that this bead doesn’t fit on Screw-end snake chains like Pandora or OHM; however, I have tried, and it fits Ohm Bangles, Trollbeads bracelet, bangles, Redbalifrog bracelets, bangles and Bella Facsini bangles. Night Shift measures approximately 14.20 mm high x 26.85 mm wide and retails for €79, price include vat.

I’ve actually worn this bead a lot just by itself on a Pandora Leather.

Overall, this is such a fun bead! I personally will wear it throughout the year, though it is perfect for Halloween.
