Today is OHM January 2020 preview day and I have a complete review of this new collection set to release on January 2, 2020. In this release you will find Peace Alien, Lion Dance and a new BBQ Holey Bunny. Regionally previewing today is Australia Billabong, Thailand 9, Walk The Talk, Achieve and Countryside. Out of this release I am reviewing Peace Alien, Lion Dance and Billabong!
This is truly a fabulous release. I love the Lion Dance and of course the Peace Alien is a bead I’ve wanted for quite some time and am happy to participate in OHMLab.
OHM Lion Dance is a really cool articulating bead with nice detailing that can be worn on either a Ball Necklace or bracelet. This bead is perfect for the Chinese New Year and perfect on any Asian themed bracelet or worn alone on a necklace. You will find that the mouth on this bead is articulating. Lion Dance measures approximately 15.50 mm high x 11.90 mm wide and retails for $95 / €99, price include vat.
OHM Peace Alien is an OHMLab project that I am so excited to be a part of. This is an Alien holding up a peace sign with one hand while holding his other hand behind his back with his fingers crossed. He has a traditional shape Alien head and is wearing a space suite. This bead pairs perfectly with OHM Moon Phases and UFO. Peace Alien measures approximately 14.32 mm high x 10.72 mm wide and retails for $45 / €47, price include vat.
OHM Billabong is a stunning pastel yellow in the popular barrel shape we all love from OHM. This is a standard size glass and as always with any handmade glass beads color and size may vary. I will add the price for this bead as soon as the information is available.

The Lion Dance is perfect on the OHM Ball Necklace as a pendant.
Red is always a popular color with the New Year, and I think Lion Dance is perfect on the OHM Lucky Red Whip Bracelet (Taiwan exclusive) with both Australian exclusives and the Library another fantastic OHM Taiwan exclusive.
Of course, Lion Dance will work in just about any composition. Here I have it with Golden Bu, Royal Elephant, Billabong, Pacific Life, Fog and Sparks of Life.
In this composition I went with OHM Cheesy, Mae Gnome Pikul, Fire-ation, Lion Dance, Nam Som, Luang Gnome Pilak, and King.
A Thai inspired composition with OHM Nam Som, Oracle, Sunset, Lion Dance, Sunset square, Tuk Tuk and Fire-ation.

I’ve been wearing my Peace Alien the last few days with these two Pandora beads, OHM Library, UFO and Gibbous on a Trollbeads Bangle with OHM Star Lock and Trobeads Spacer.
Peace Alien goes perfectly with OHM UFO, Galaxy, Deep Blue, Night Sky, A Sirius Wish, and the Moon phases.
Overall, this is a small release; however, a fantastic release! I love the beads in this collection and I’m sure many of you will, too.

Peace Alien is such a fun bead. I ordered it the minute it came up. I love how you’ve styled him with Pandora’s Celestial Mosaic. I have two Pandora Starry Night Sky that’ll give the same cartoon effect, I think. So cute.

Hi Ann! Thank you and yes the OHMLab is rather new they started it about maybe a year and a half ago and through out 2020 will be an OHMLab design each month that were chosen during Beadmas 2018. The Peace Alien is an OHMLab with me as the assistant. I needed a peace alien to go in my space themes 😃. Billabong is a beautiful pastel yellow, I love it.

I have noticed that in some of your designs you display the Chunky bracelet with the ends hooked together, rather than with a clasp/lock. I like that look and the apparent ease. Can you safely wear it that way? I don’t have a Chunky that is long enough to try it out myself.
