Today Beadsaholic brings a review of OHM Beads Sweectus.

Today is preview day for OHM, but I’ll be doing that shortly, for now I want to show you this adorable new OHMistry bead Sweectus designed by Svetana of Sweet Mini Doll House from Ukraine! “Svetlana lives in the Ukraine raising her two children, twins. When on maternity leave in 2011 she was looking for a gift idea for a friend. As she couldn’t find anything suitable she decided to make it herself. Once she found a material she liked – polymer clay – she was hooked. “I made my first figurine – it was a sewing machine 9 years ago. From what was left of the material purchased for the gift I decided to keep experimenting and really got sucked into the whole process and all the possibilities. I started from making polymer clay jewelry accessories and then moved back to doing the little miniatures for dollhouses. I got the idea about dollhouse miniatures after I participated in a handmade exhibition that was themed for “Alice in Wonderland” where I made up a special tea set.” Now, Svetlana’s miniature creations live in more than 30 countries worldwide.  OHM discovered Svetlana’s Instagram account when looking for mini accessories for the OHM Gnome dollhouse we use to have. Her posts were honest, and we were inspired. It was a joy to see her art. After chatting a little via DM, we placed our first order. The whole communication experience was smooth and genuine. The package arrived fast; packaging was handmade with a personal note included. OHM collaborated with Svetlana on the release of BUNNY REAPER. Her little tiny miniature Easter themed cookies and eggs were included in each package making the packaging extra special and unique. OHM is thrilled to work with Svetlana on creating her sterling silver dream. A sweet ice cream cactus: SWEECTUS. “

OHM Beads Sweectus is adorable and quite unique in that this cute little ice cream is a cactus with a cute bow and a sweet face. Sweectus is limited to one hundred and eleven (111) beads and measures approximately 13.59 mm high x 10.99 mm wide. I’ll add pricing soon.

I really love this bead with Upchucked Confetti as I feel these were meant for each other.

So many compositions this bead could go in but I really like it as a focal in a simple bangle combo like here with the slim glass.

Overall, this is such an adorable bead that of course, would be perfect in any collection.
