Today Beadsaholic brings a review of the Aurora Hobbit Tavern.

This bead was inspired by The Hobbit and so I thought it would be fun to come up with a few themed designs.

Aurora Hobbit Tavern is a fun structure bead with tons of details. You will find a porch like area with an awning and beautiful windows, on one side is what looks to be a watermill, and on the other side you will find two wood-grain doors and the roof has beautiful scalloped tile detailing.  As you can see in the photos below there is just so much detailing to each part of this bead. This bead measures approximately 15.38 mm high x 16.69 mm wide. Hobbit Tavern retails for €69.95, price includes vat.

In this first composition I wanted to do a full bracelet with beads I thought were fitting for a Hobbit design.  I went with all Dream Glass Art Glass beads for the color scheme, silvers starting at the top is the 4Unique Dragonmax Lock, Aurora Swampy the Creature from the Misty Lagoon, 4Unique Fire Dragon, OHM Je Maintiendrai, Aurora Hobbit Tavern, OHM Library, 4Unique Ice Dragon, and OHM We Learn As We Age on a 4Unique Bracelet.

In this composition I went with a simple bangle of Dream Glass Art Glass beads, OHM We learn as We Age, Aurora Hobbit Tavern and Swampy the Creature from the Misty Lagoon on an Aurora Celtic Bangle.

I really love this composition with the Aurora Hobbit Tavern being the focal framed by Dream Glass Art Glass beads and the 4Unique Fire and Ice Dragons on the Aurora Celtic Bangle.

Not only is it good to use in the theme of the Hobbit, but for anyone who loves structure beads this is a must. Here I have it in an Irish Pub theme with Aurora Irish Celtic Shamrock, Hobbit Tavern, Serenity Green Flower, and Paddy the Irish Leprechaun on the Aurora Celtic Bangle.

Overall, this is a nicely done bead and is a nice size and weight. I’d love to see a bracelet done as a village with different buildings, I think that would be too cool. There are so many different compositions this bead would work perfect in.
