Corner 35 Spring 2020 Collection Review

Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Corner 35 Spring 2020 Collection.

Today is the debut of the Corner 35 Spring Collection which consist of two beautiful new beads the Dutch Tulip and Peacock Feather. Both are stunning and complement any composition!

Tulips are one of the first flowers to bloom in spring and come in a variety of beautiful colors. They symbolize perfect or deep love and rebirth.

Peacocks symbolizes vision, royalty, spirituality, awakening, guidance, protection, kindness, luck and watchfulness. In mythology it was thought that Peacock tails had eyes of the stars.

Corner 35 Peacock Feather is beautifully detailed with two single peacock feathers together on each side. This feather beautifully floats on your bracelet. This bead measures approximately 15.24 mm high x 6.68 mm wide and weighs 1.8 grams. Peacock Feather retails for €49, price includes vat.

“This bead has got a wavy peacock feather on each side, hugging your bracelet or necklace.
A peacock’s tail is enchanting with its bright colours and ‘eyes’ that stare into your soul.
Throughout history, peacocks have been associated with the idea of wisdom, vitality, protection and gracefulness.

The bead has been engraved with the pattern of a feather. On each side, a detailed ‘peacock’s eye’ is visible in the center.”

Corner 35 Dutch Tulip is beautifully made with three petals on the outside that fold together to show a closed tulip with the petals sticking up in a rose like pattern. You will be able to see this design better in the video below. This bead measures approximately 15.20 mm high x 8.75 mm wide and weighs 3.7 grams. Dutch Tulip retails for €69, price includes vat.

“The tulip has become a symbol here in The Netherlands. They are a part of our culture. In the spring you can see the tulip fields in all the colours of the rainbow! Together with my ‘cheese from Holland’ bead, they are a tribute to my home country.

The Dutch tulip bead has got three petals on the outside. They are folded together in to this beautiful ‘rose’ top, where all the petals come together. The stem is cut at an angle, because that’s the way we learn to cut the flowers before you put them in water.”

Here you can see how beautiful these two beads stand out next to Trollbeads standard size glass beads and stones.

Though I love the look of these new beads with standard size beads, I really love both the Dutch Tulip and Peacock Feather being the focal in the next two compositions with Elfpetite!

Here I’ve used the Peacock feather as the focal alongside Elfpetite and some African Turquoise.

Overall, I think you will find both beads beautiful and will fit into any collection. Both fit all major brands including Pandora, OHM and Trollbeads and as you can see they do well even on the Essence bangle and Elfpetite bracelet. You should check out the photos on the Corner 35 website, too, I love the peacock feather on a necklace!

    • Thanks so very much, Elena! It is truly wonderful to hear from you. I would so love to see your peacock bead collection! Peacock theme isn’t the easiest to find, so I was happy, too to see this bead in this release. I’ve had my Trollbeads peacock unique glass beads for years and have slowly found silvers. I love the detailing in the Corner 35 Peacock Feather and will be trying it out on a chain, too soon as it looks so pretty like that on her site.
