Today Beadsaholic brings a review of the OHM Beads Vacation Drinks Collection.

With the recent situation around the world, I believe we are all due a nice tall vacation drink! Today I’m pretending I’m on a beautiful tropical island with a Mai Tai in my hand and only the waves and birds can be heard for miles, maybe I’ll have a Cosmo next!

Last week I posted a video preview of the huge April release from OHM Beads and today I have a review of one of the many collections releasing on April 1st, 2020.

OHM Beads Mai Tai is beautiful and bright ombré sunset orange with little bubbles throughout. This bead and Cosmo are my absolute favorites from this release, and I think you will find OHM beads have several beads that will complement the orange in this bead. Mai Tai is a barrel shaped bead that averages around 15 mm high x 8 mm wide and retails for $45 / €47, price include vat.

“MAI TAI

• 40 ml White rum
• 20 ml Dark rum
• 15 ml Orange Curaçao
• 15 ml Orgeat syrup
• 10 ml Fresh lime juice
• Ice

Shake with ice. Strain into a glass. Garnish with mint and a slice of lime. Enjoy.

OR toss some orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, and some almond syrup with some soda water and then serve in a glass with a splash of grenadine in the bottom. You are in charge of the vacation. It’s your time to chill. Do what you want.”

OHM Beads Cosmo is a beautiful ombré deep pink to light pink with bubbles throughout. This bead is stunning and matches Hazy Stripes and Lake Hillier perfectly! Cosmo is a barrel shaped bead that averages around 15 mm high x 8 mm wide and retails for $45 / €47, price include vat.

“COSMO

• 40 ml Vodka Citron
• 15 ml Cointreau
• 15 ml Fresh lime juice
• 30 ml Cranberry juice

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into a large cocktail glass. Garnish with lime slice.

OR grab some pinkberry lemonade and top with fresh lime slices. The whole point is to have fun making pretty drinks. Life is but a sensory experience. Do what you want to make it the fullest it can be.”

OHM Beads Blue Lagoon is a stunning deep blue to light blue ombrè with bubbles throughout. This is stunning shades of blue that reminds me of the ocean. Blue Lagoon is a barrel shaped bead that averages around 15 mm high x 8 mm wide and retails for $45 / €47, price include vat.

“BLUE LAGOON

• 50 ml Vodka
• 20 ml Blue Curacao
• 100 ml Lemonade
• 1 orange slice
• Ice cubes

Pour vodka and blue curacao in a shaker with ice, shake well & strain into ice-filled highball glass, top with lemonade. Garnish the brim with an orange slice.

OR use some Blue Raspberry syrup in some soda water with a squeeze of orange and call it a day.”

OHM Beads Mojito is a beautiful lime green to lemon-lime ombrè with tiny bubbles throughout. Mojito is a barrel shaped bead that averages around 15 mm high x 8 mm wide and retails for $45 / €47, price include vat.

“MOJITO

• 40 ml White rum
• 30 ml Fresh lime juice
• 6 Sprigs of mint
• 2 t Sugar (or 20 ml sugar syrup)
• Soda water
• Cracked ice

Muddle mint leaves with sugar and lime juice. Add a splash of soda water and fill the glass with cracked ice. Pour the rum and top with soda water. Garnish with sprig of mint leaves and lemon slice. 

OR skip the rum and add a few drizzles of honey. Experience the full breadth of your vacation by staying present while creating memories. Or get sloshed. Both are valid paths. This is your time to tap into your flow and do what you really want to do.” 

This collection looks beautiful and rather tropical together and I’ve included some beach sand and a Hawaiian Lei, what more do we need? Let’s drink and head down the rabbit hole!
