OHM Beads June Collection Review |

Today Beadsaholic brings a review of the OHM Beads June Collection.

Today is OHM Beads Preview Day and I have a complete review here of the new collection including regional releases. In this release you will find the OHMLab Time Machine, OHMistry Don’t Give Up, and three regional releases which are Australia’s Wagyl, Thailand’s Walk the Walk and Europe’s Lila Gold.

OHM Beads Time Machine is an OHMLab project with project assistant Beth Poole. This bead is rather cool with so much detail all the way around. This bead measures approximately 15.85 mm x 16.77 mm wide and retails for $70 / €73 / ฿2,600. Available today for preorder at participating retailers and will release on June 4, 2020 world-wide.

“The Time Machine is a science fiction novel written by H.G. Wells, published in 1895, and is usually credited with the concept of time travel using a vehicle or device to purposefully and selectively travel forward and backward through time. The book was made into several popular films in 1962, 1979, and 2002. The British TV show Doctor Who utilizes a time-traveling space ship called TARDIS that resembles a police phone booth, but could take any number of forms if it hadn’t gotten stuck.

OHM Beads Don’t Give Up is an OHMistry project with OHMist Emily Dunbar of Fashionstoryteller on Instagram and YouTube. This bead symbolizes the battle of climbing a mountain with so many obstacles in our way and once you get to the top and down the other side the victory that awaits us. There is just so much detail in this bead, as you start up the trail of the mountain on one side you will find snakes and what looks to be scary caves ready to swallow you whole and once you get to the top and start down the other side you will find beautiful trees, mushrooms, mushroom house and what looks to be a cute rabbit head and at the bottom you will find a sign that says “You Did It”. This bead measures approximately 12.46 mm high x 11.77 mm wide and is limited to only one hundred and eleven (111) beads. Don’t give up retails for $70. and will release on June 19, 2020 at 10 am Vancouver, BC time on the OHM Beads Website.

“Emily Dunbar, known as “fashionstoryteller” on Instagram and Youtube, has a background in Fashion Design and has always loved to tell stories through clothing and other creative outlets. It is no wonder that she fell in love with charm bracelets, with each bracelet (and bead) telling a unique story. She shares these stories on her blog and social media platforms.

OHM Beads Lila Gold is a stunning purple glass barrel with gold foil all the way around. This is a European exclusive and will only be available from Europe retailers. OHM Beads WAGYL is the latest addition to the Australian Collection. This cute spiritual little tribal snake wraps around your bracelet. I really love the design and what looks to be tribal markings. The story behind this bead makes it interesting and the perfect addition to the Australian Collection. This bead measures approximately 10.01 mm high x 10.50 mm wide and retails for $50 and will be available on June 4, 2020 on the OHM Beads website.

“The WAGYL can grow angry and cause storms, thunder, lightning, and cyclones. They control life’s most precious resource: water. Some say the WAGYL is the creator of all things.

OHM Beads Walk the Walk is super cute Converse style shoes hanging from their shoe strings with the OHM symbol on the side. These come in a super cute OHM box that resembles a shoe box and on the bottom reads “Shoes are boring, wear beads”, I always love the thought that OHM Beads puts into packaging to tell the complete story of the bead. Since my favorite shoes in the world are Flip Flops and Converse Tennis shoes, these are perfect for me. This bead measures approximately 15.94 mm high x 10.25 mm wide and retails for ฿2.200. If you had a Time Machine and could travel back in time.. Where would you go? I think it would be cool to travel back and experience Woodstock in 1969! In this OHM composition I created a trip back to Woodstock, too bad I don’t have the OHM Rainbowed as they would be perfect with these silvers. Overall, this is a small collection, but fun. It is not going to be for everyone, but I think many of you will like what this collection has to offer. Each design is nicely executed.
