Today Beadsaholic brings a review of OHM Beads Woot Bear Chloe.
OHM Beads Woot Bear Chloe is the second in the series designed for OHM by Steve Ferrera an amazing artist who creates interesting toys, sculptures, and puppets. Steve’s works of art are so unusual and cute, and I think that you will see this is so with the latest OHMistry collaboration between Steve and OHM. The first in the series was the limited edition Phinneas, which was a fast sell out and is now part of regular collection. Chloe is limited-edition and only one hundred and eleven (111) beads have been created, signed, serialized, and comes with a card of authenticity. The packaging you see below comes with each Woot Bear Chloe.
OHM Beads Woot Bear Chloe is such a cute little bear holding her sickle. I like to think of this little Woot Bear as my little miner looking for gems. This adorable guy measures approximately 13.11 mm high x 11.50 mm wide and weighs 2.7 grams. Woot Bear Chloe retails for $50.
“The Woot Bear design was born in Steve Ferrera’s Berkeley art studio in 2016 for an art show at Woot Bear Gallery in San Francisco. The original bear was a 5-inch tall solid cast resin figure painted with acrylic paints. For the show, a dozen top toy designers were asked to customize the bear. The design continues to evolve and find new iterations, this time finding a home in the jewelry and bead world with OHM Beads in Seattle, Washington. The bead designs were created by OHM who incorporated some signature swirls found in their logo. ” ~ OHM
Meet Chloe and Phinneas!
I wanted to create a cute composition inspired by gem mining with OHM Thanks A Lot, Woot Bear Chloe, Suckers, Woot Bear Phinneas and OHMpal.
Maybe these guys are doing some space mining? I think Phinneas is rather magical with his staff. Here you see some of my favorite OHM Beads. OHM Royalty, Phinneas, A Sirius Wish, Time Machine, Deep Blue, Chloe, Universe of stars, Luna 2.0, Galaxy, Peace Alien, Sky Guild, UFO, Deep Blue, Gibbous and Night Sky.
How freakin’ cute is this guy?
In this composition I wanted to go with inspirations from the earth, imagine these little guys in the forest living among the flowers. Seen here is OHM Rose, Gouldian, Irises, Humor, Lotus, Fairy Wren, Chloe, Resist, Touch of Maple, Pacific Life, Phinneas, Lilac Rain, Tulips, Go far, Cherry Blossoms and Billabong.
I live in the present, due to the constraints of space-time continuum. If only we could visit another time, a place in history.
OHM Beads Woot Bear Chloe is limited and set to release on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 10 am Pacific time. This project will only be available on OHM Beads Website.

I do not know what the artist who created Chloe had in mind, but to my perception with the name Chloe this is a “she”, not a “he”. She is very cute indeed.

Hi MaLa, I refer to her as a “her” as well because of the name Chloe, however, there are males with names that are normally used for girls. I too don’t know if the artist created Chloe to be a girl or boy. Where did you see Chloe referred to as a he? I know I use the word “guys”, but it’s meant in a gender neutral manner.
