Redbalifrog Native Beauties Collection Review

Today Beadsaholic brings a review of Redbalifrog Native Beauties Collection.

Today is the release of Redbalifrog’s latest collection Native Beauties. This collection consist of four new designs and the Koala Hope will come in two finishes that will be part of the collection and a gold plated which is limited-edition. Native Beauties is inspired by Australian nature in all its beauty.

Redbalifrog Gum Leaves Ball has such a native feel with the beaded detailing on this orb shape bead with gum leaves in an open-work design around the middle. This is one bead I am sure I will want a second to have a pair, as it will be a nice bead to use in framing a focal. Gum Leaves Ball measures approximately 12.70 mm high x12.88 mm wide and retails for $31 / € 31.50.

“Gum Leaves Ball – Australian Gum Trees are iconic within the countries forever changing landscape. This piece entwines the leaves of the Gum to symbolise togetherness throughout the world we live in.” -Redbalifrog

Redbalifrog Gumnut Fairy is such an adorable design with a cute fairy inside the gumnut, you can see her wings sticking out and her braided hair goes down the back of the gumnut. This design reminds me of the cute Gumnut babies. Gumnut Fairy measures approximately 21.70 mm high x 11.07 mm wide and retails for $31 / €31.50.

“Gumnut Fairy – Australian native fairies are both whimsical and mischievous, using the fallen nuts of Gum Trees to play hide and seek and rest their wings when the sun sets. The detail of this little bead is exquisite.” – Redbalifrog

Redbalifrog Koala Hope is such a sweet Koala design! This design is available in three finishes sterling silver, brass and gold-plated, the latter being limited-edition of only one hundred (100) beads. This little guy is plump and looks to be sleeping with a sweet expression. On the backside is lots of fur detailing. Koala Hope measures approximately 14.67 mm high x 12.47 mm wide and retails for Sterling Silver $36 / €37, Brass $22 / €26.50 and LE Gold-Plated $45 / €48.

“Koala Hope – A native tree hugging marsupial found only within Australia. Known for their gentle nature and cuddly appearance, these beautifully detailed sleepy Koala beads come in brass, silver and the limited-edition gold plated.” -Redbalifrog

Redbalifrog Koala Hope in Brass.

Redbalifrog Protea Flower is such a stunning focal flower bead and is a perfect addition to Redbalifrog floral bead collection. This bead has so much detail from the petals to the leaves. Protea Flower measures approximately 17.98 mm high x 11.29 mm wide and retails for $31 / €31.50.

“Protea Flower – These unique flowers have existed since prehistoric times and come in many shapes, sizes and colors. This is a larger focal piece to add to your floral bracelet collection that symbolises change, hope and diversity.” – Redbalifrog

Now for a bit of inspiration! In this first composition I wanted to embrace summer with beautiful pinks and greens, colors of my favorite Protea Flower. All glasses used are Elfbeads with Redbalifrog Teacup Fairy, Gum Leaves, Gumnut Fairy, Protea Flower, Koala Hope, and Gum Leaves Ball. I’m including a couple of different angles of this bracelet.

The Brass goes perfectly with other Brass pieces or you can even mix with gold. Seen here with Elfbeads Glass.

I really love this bangle design and using Gum Leaves to frame the new Gum Leaves Ball with Elfbeads Glass on the Redbalifrog bangle.

  1. Thanks for the review and great photos. I liked seeing the older gumnut leaves bead with the new one. They compliment each other very well.
