Today Beadsaholic brings a preview of the Dream Glass Art Ma Lei Bear Clover Bears.

Recently Dream Glass Art shared their latest Ma Lei Bear release with me and pre-orders are already on their way. These beads are set to ship on August 14, 2021.

This Ma Lei Bear set comes with two bears one dressed in a tuxedo and the other in a dinner dress, both are ready for their romantic date. Both Ma Lei Bears are holding a nine karat gold clover above their heads. The bears are made of sterling silver and are limited to only two-hundred and one sets (201). This set retails for NT$7,777 / $277.88 / €235.64.

Ma Lei Bears are the signature design of Dream Glass Art, I’m sure you have seen several reviews here of their bears over the last couple of years. Their bears are my favorite and make up most of my Bear collection.

Ma Lei is named after the owner Ma and her husband. I recently asked Ma at Dream Glass Art about the story behind this release and below is what she shared with me.

Ma Lei bear is a bear made up of nicknames for me and my husband. My name is Ma, and my husband’s nickname is Lao Lei~ So, it’s called Ma Lei Bear. He is our first bear kid. Since I envy others with bears of their own brands, why don’t we have them? Of course, I also thought of the bear my father bought me when I was a kid. It seems that every girl has her own bear doll! And my dad left my life many years ago, he has another family, so I am also very sad. And my husband, because he knows that I want my own bear he wants me to draw by myself and then we make beads or dolls ourselves! Until one day in 2017 I created my own ma rei bear. Since 2017 We have 4 sets and bears with different themes / 12 constellations From fun ~ to life ~ to love have always been our design element. This is a very ordinary but very romantic story. ~ Ma from Dream Glass Art
