Sausages and potato salad on Christmas eve and on the first day of the holidays roast goose with dumplings, blue cabbage and brussels sprouts. And of course Cookies and Stollen.

Well, we always eat the same menue for xmas. It ‘s Hering Salad with potatoes which my grandparents cook. We meet wach other at their home and celebrate xmas.

For me it has to be sprouts … love the whole roast dinner but without the sprouts it would be just wrong !!

Our family traditional dish is pilaf with chicken or meat, pies with meat and potatoes, and rolls with walnuts. With love from Russia 😀😘 Happy beadmas days!

I love Gingerbread! My mother always made a gingerbread cake and now I make it, but I love all gingerbread and just learned to make gingerbread pancakes and it is a new tradition in my house!

Every Christmas eve we visit my uncle´s family and have Fondue there, with lots of delicious salads and sauces.. it is always such a lovely family time and tradition ❤ 🙂

In my home, every year has a desert ” pave natalino” with chocolate cream and champagne cookies! We Love it!

My favorite is really an everyday food but with Turkey, stuffing, I just can’t get enough of mashed potatoes with gravy over everything. Yum!!

I love eating white turkey meat with squash, sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, salad, peas and beans. A big variety of home made Christmas cookies (especially Angel Wings) are such a treat too during the holidays!

Eating white turkey meat with sweet potatoes, squash, carrots and salad (almost any kind of vegetable) during the holidays is my favorite meal. There are so many kinds of home made cookies that I love too!

One of my favorite traditions is to make sausage rolls from scratch for my husband. We plan ahead and they become a meal!

My favorite food tradition is my boyfriend’s mother’s stuffing. She either bakes it in a pan or a muffin tin. I don’t know what’s in it, but it’s delicious!

For Thanksgiving and Christmas the crock pot train comes out. I make almost everything in the crock pot, ham, cream corn, mashed potatoes. Set it and forget it!

Making peanut brittle with my Grandma was always our special time together. She loved to eat it but I don’t really care for it, I just loved to spend the time with her near the holidays & make her happy!

My mom (87) makes Christmas cookies every year for her neighbors and family I love seeing which cookies she chose and helping her deliver them. A shortbread candy cane is my favorite. She always makes them as they are my favorite!!

My favorite holiday tradition is the holiday mini donuts I bake with my mom. We spend a whole day doing small batches with experimental flavors, and friends and family vote on their favorites.
